Home, Eugene, OR USA

These pictures go with the post: Home, Eugene, OR USA.

Lin, last morning of the trip. Ready to go home!

Our site at Haynes Point PP, a beautiful spot on Osoyoos Lake;
the lake shore sites are even nicer; perhaps next time...

South shore of Osoyoos Lake, BC; looking W.

Ready to leave Bear Creek PP, a beautiful spot on Kelowna Lake, BC.

8th Generation Winery, West Kelowna, BC - this family has been in the business
a while.  Not big or fancy, but, hey, they make excellent wine.

Town Park in Kelowna, BC.  I took the panorama pictures from the pier, here.

Summerhill Winery Entrance.  South of Kelowna, BC.

Now, we find out how good the sparkling wine really
is at Summerhill...  It is very nice.

On the west side of Kelowna Lake, view from Quail's Gate Winery.
Nice wine here, too.

Getting ready to leave Irvine's RV Park, Valemount, BC.

Our site on Bear Lake at Crooked River Provincial Park was a very nice one!

Fancy old hotel in Dawson Creek, BC.
Note the art work on the alley walls in this picture.

Wind generator farm, south-east of
Whitehorse, BC.

These wind-turbines are unusual in that the generator is directly driven from the hub, with no gears. Each unit is independently steered and controlled for rotor speed based on local winds and demand for generated electrical power.

Our site at North Country RV Park, Whitehorse, YT.

Carmacks Hotel & RV Park, Carmacks, YT, Canada

These pictures go with the post: Carmacks Hotel & RV Park, Carmacks, YT, Canada.

Our rig at Sourdough CG in Tok, AK.  We're packed up and
ready to head for Dawson City, YT, Canada.

Our rig at the Worthington Glacier Visitors' Center, north of Valdez, AK.
Note that most of the dirt from the Dalton Highway has washed off
thanks to the heavy rains we drove through.

The following pictures are from our cruise out of Valdez to Columbia Glacier.

Face in the rock, from a distance.

A close up view of deeply colored ice.

Close up of vari-colored ice.

The following images are from our tour of McCarthy and Kennecott, AK.

Another view of the Kennecott hospital buildings.

Interior construction of the Kennecott ore processing plant --
heavy timbers all around, and still in surprisingly
good condition.

Tolsona Wilderness Campground, Glennallen, AK

These pictures go with the post: Tolsona Wilderness Campground, Glennallen, AK.

Williwaw CG, ready to leave on Sunday morning, in the sunshine!

Our seats at Alyeska Seven Glaciers restaurant were on the far side.
